We are very excited to share today's episode! Our guest today is Sonia Furstenau. Sonia is the leader of the British Columbia Green Party and is a passionate advocate for environmental protection and sustainability. She was elected as the party's leader in September 2020, after serving as a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia representing the Cowichan Valley. Furstenau is known for her advocacy of environmental protection and sustainability. As a member of the Legislative Assembly, she has been vocal in her support of policies to combat climate change, protect old-growth forests, and promote sustainable agriculture. She has also been an advocate for affordable housing, accessible healthcare, and the rights of Indigenous peoples.

In this conversation we dive into the things that motivate her, the vision and hope she has for creating a better more regenerative future, and she shares some very inspiring ideas about how we can value one another, and this planet we call home, and presents a deeply hope filled picture of what could be if we align our politics with our values. Sonia shares all this with a healthy dose of humility, laughter, and stories that help illuminate her ideas.

We're so excited to share this conversation with Sonia, as we discuss her vision for a sustainable future, the challenges and opportunities facing Canada, and her perspective on the role of politics in creating positive change.

No matter your political leanings, we know you're going to love this conversation.

Enjoy,
